on october 28, 2015, jeff masters noted ibm had officially announced agreement acquire weather company’s business-to-business, mobile , cloud-based web properties, including weather underground, wsi, weather.com, , weather company brand. meanwhile, television service (the weather channel) remains separate entity. deal finalized on january 29, 2016.
