galaxy of caves in lenyadri hill.
on spur of same lenyadri hill, there 4 more caves (not numbered) face south-south west , cut precipitous hill slopes. based on unfinished conditions, interpreted caves. details are: small chaitya relic-shrine , door, unfinished irregular rock faces. entrance decorated ornamentation depict relic-shrine, lotus flower , geometrical patterns; inaccessible cave 2 rooms, well, , stone beds in 3 adjoining rooms incomplete relic-shrine in low relief; 2 other adjoining caves have chapel , front veranda.

passing round east end of hill, after walk of mile, or 4 miles town, in spur of sulaiman pahar, group of caves in face of hill, 400 feet above level of junnar, , facing s.s.w. represented inaccessible, precipice in front of them being perpendicular; difficult of access, , dangerous attempt 1 not accustomed climbing.
the easterly of them small chaitya-cave 8 feet 3 inches wide, , 22 feet 4 inches in length, or 15 feet 4 inches door dagoba, 4 feet 10 inches in diameter , 9 feet 4 inches high. walls not straight, nor floor level. side aisles have not been begun, , altogether no part of interior quite finished, except upper part of dagoba. top of architrave or triforium 16 feet, , centre of roof 18 feet 2 inches. outside, façade carved chaitya window ornaments, enclosing dagoba, , others lotus flower; while rail ornament abundantly interspersed in usual way. fronton round window carved geometrical pattern. details of cave seem indicate perhaps @ bedsa , karle, , consequently among earlier excavations junnar.
next it, higher , inaccessible, 2 cells; well; and, thirdly, small vihara, 3 cells, 2 of them stone-beds. rough cutting on wall between cell-doors resembles dagoba in low relief, quite unfinished. outside 2 more cells , chamber or chapel @ end of veranda runs along in front both of vihara , cells.
