after discovery of graves, memorials erected commemorating deaths of victims. in september 2007, slovene government started plans make mass grave site in tezno memorial park , cemetery. croatian president ivo josipović visited site in june 2010 , laid wreaths victims.


in 2012, under centre-left government of zoran milanović, croatian parliament decided revoke funding annual bleiburg commemoration , shifted smaller commemoration @ tezno site. year, president josipović, prime minister milanović , speaker boris Šprem, slovenian prime minister janez janša, visited location , paid tribute victims. @ opening of memorial park in june 2012, slovenian president danilo türk said:



the end of second world war witnessed extra-judicial killings. , @ dobrava @ tezno 1 of major massacres took place. appropriate these crimes again decisively , condemned today. on every suitable occasion, president of republic of slovenia, condemn extra-judicial killings, , forms of war , revolutionary violence. acts must investigated , whole truth must told.



at 2015 commemoration, croatian leadership condemned crimes regardless of ideology in name committed. after laying wreath in tezno, then-prime minister milanović said:



i came here people killed @ end of war. tragic, horrible event puts stain on fight , 1 should not run it, nor run it. places cause uneasiness, must accepted , heads must not turned away them.
