the educational system in sweden based on nine-year primary school, or grundskola , mandatory attendance. following comes elective three-year secondary school, or gymnasieskola , divided in 2 instances either prepare higher education or receive vocational education. preparatory instance allows specialization in either natural sciences or social sciences.
grading
