biography

andru donalds born in kingston, jamaica. musical style ranges pop, rock , roll, reggae , ballads. influences include beatles, prince, bob marley, queen, michael jackson & black uhuru.


solo career

upon leaving school @ age of 18 donalds travelled england, netherlands , new york city, in order develop musical abilities singer , songwriter. met producer , songwriter eric foster white, had hits stars such frank sinatra, britney spears, whitney houston, jessica simpson, julio iglesias, backstreet boys, regina belle, hi-five , boyzone. produced debut album andru donalds. 2 singles - mishale , save me - became successful worldwide.


his second album damned, if don’t published 2 years later in 1997. song somebody’s baby taken soundtrack of oscar-winning film hunting.


in april 1998 donalds received call producer , songwriter michael cretu, wanted engage him enigma project. outcome collaborated not on enigma songs on 2 solo albums. third album snowin’ under skin included 2 singles: out of love, cover version of air supply song achieved international platinum status, , simple obsession.


let’s talk it, fourth album, featured single 1 night lover.


five years after last solo album, donalds released best of album in 2006. included 5 new songs, of dreamer , let stars fall down released singles.


enigma

since 1999 donalds has been 1 of lead singers in enigma, cretu’s music project has sold on 50 million records worldwide, received more 100 platinum , gold awards , took on 50 #1 chart positions. has performed in enigma songs such as: 7 lives, modern crusaders, screen behind mirror, boum-boum, in shadow, in light, hello , welcome (soundtrack felix sturm’s box). co-wrote , performed je t’aime till dying day , distorted love.


other collaborations

in 2005 donalds co-produced , performed song , feel soundtrack of german film barefoot / barfuß, starring , directed til schweiger.


in 2005 co-operated ukrainian singer evgenia vlasova. songs limbo & wind of hope gained airplay on slavic radio stations.


donalds wrote song sandra, former wife of cretu: way am, lead single art of love album released in 2007.
