the british columbia hockey league s chilliwack chiefs, play @ prospera centre. team used quesnel millionaires. franchise purchased , moved chilliwack chiefs development group. started in bchl s interior conference 2011/2012 bchl season. while original junior team, chilliwack chiefs, plays in langley, british columbia, langley rivermen (the chiefs development group sold interest in langley chiefs retained chiefs name , history). western hockey league s chilliwack bruins used play @ prospera centre. expansion franchise began play in 2006 , ended when team sold @ end of 2011 season. became victoria royals whl hockey team in 2011.


community sports include hockey, lacrosse, softball, soccer, football, baseball , swimming. canadian junior football league s chilliwack huskers play @ exhibition stadium.


chilliwack turbo fastball club won 1997 canadian jr. men s national championships. in 2013 team inaugural induction chilliwack sports hall of fame.


chilliwack s minor baseball cougars 2006 western canadian tier 2 champions. chilliwack hosted 2007-2008 synchronized skating canadian championships @ prospera centre.


chilliwack minor hockey association organized in 1958 opening of chilliwack coliseum.
