chikhaoui became captain of Étoile du sahel @ age of 19, club record. chikhaoui has achieved many things Étoile du sahel such african champions league , being part of squad when took part of international clubs championship.

chikhaoui signed fc zürich on five-year contract on 23 may 2007.


during 2008 africa cup of nations, reported many clubs had scouts present watch chikhaoui (manchester united, bayern munchen, juventus ...). unfortunately, after impressing @ african cup of nations forced take time out recurring knee problem treated. on 26 april 2009, completed recovery returning play zurich first team. weeks later cemented comeback goal , contributed, late substitute, helping team win , stay top in title race.
