by 2013, after 99 years of continuous service, brugeoise cars definitively withdrawn service on january 12, 2013, 11 months before 100th anniversary. replaced new cnr rolling stock, has been introduced units arrive china. original rolling stock has since been maintained, in exhibition , being converted 1500v run tourist services on line. in december 2013 law passed meant entire la brugeoise fleet receive protection status , donated organisations dedicated restoration , preservation.


the 45 200 series cnr cars arrived in 2013 not sufficient cover entire fleet of line, had supplemented temporary fleet of 35 fiat-materfer cars, still not enough replace 120 la brugeoise units. additional reformed siemens-schuckert orenstein & koppel trains added temporary fleet in addition materfer trains, replacement of rolling stock coincided opening of san josé de flores , san pedrito stations in same year, line still left serious defect in rolling stock causing decline in passenger numbers.


in mean time, further 105 200 series cars ordered china line served in entirety 150 of these cars, , siemens o&k cars retired service , materfer cars moved line e in time extension retiro. these cars have been steadily arriving country since 2015 , being incorporated line in order recuperate declines in frequency , passenger numbers since retirement of la brugeoise cars. last of cnr units expected arrive between 2016 , 2017, time line s rolling stock consist entirely of 200 series.
