from 1814 1818 pheasant based in channel fleet. in 1819 joined africa station patrols off coast of africa near sierra leone. on 30 july detained portuguese slave trader nova felicidade. on 6 october stopped portuguese slave trader vulcano. there several deaths of crew due outbreak of yellow fever.
on 25 july 1821, myrmidon, stopped portuguese slave vessel adelaide, 232 slaves on board.
