the wsf works closely player association – professional squash association (psa) – control , co-ordinate world calendar squash. championships held in major squash playing nations , integrated world championships , major games calendar ensure there no clashes of dates.

world championships , major games

the championships committee responsible running , promoting world championships men, women, juniors , masters @ individual , team levels in both singles , doubles via national federations. world championships run wsf members, tender events @ least 4 years in advance. team championships held every 2 years; , open/individual championships held annually. committee responsible ensuring squash represented in major regional multi-sport games – squash included in pan-american games, asian games, commonwealth games, world games pacific games , africa games.

olympic games

the wsf has established olympic games committee responsible conducting high-profile campaign squash accepted full medal sport in olympic games. (bid)

athletes commission

the athletes commission comprises representatives psa. chairman, athlete, reports exco , represents interests of current players in areas such championship regulations , implementation of new wada code.

coaching & development

the wsf encourages development of squash, not in countries new sport well-established. advice on development matters given members , implemented through group of wsf specialists in coaching & development committee , via best practice on wsf website. committee members identify needs development projects in regions , recommend activity plans wsf resources , funding. committee organises coaching conference on annual basis , runs coaching courses in new , developing squash nations develop local coaches. committee organises management conference senior executives in national associations can network, share resources , establish best practice on wsf website.

the technical committee sets standards technical aspects of squash including court construction, rackets, balls, eye protection , clothing. inspects , accredits court components meet specifications , works partner companies promote practice in court construction worldwide.

the anti-doping commission ensures squash compliant new wada code. commission responsible establishing registered testing pool , athletes whereabouts system out-of-competition testing. has established panel of physicians reviews therapeutic use exemptions (tue) , calls on specialist doping hearing , review panels when required.

medical

the medical commission generates positive guidelines medical aspects of playing , training squash. identifies , gives medical advice on topics such eye protection, heart health, injury prevention , injury management.
