charlo defeated philadelphia veteran boxer , former world title challenger gabriel rosado (21-7, 13 kos) on january 25, 2014 @ d.c. armory in washington, d.c. on showtime. charlo passed biggest test of career , looked doing out boxed rosado win lopsided 10-round unanimous decision. judges scored fight 100-90, 99-91 , 97-93 in charlo s favor. charlo landed 50% of punches thrown compared rosado s 18%.


on may 24, 2014 charlo defeated charlie ota @ bell centre in montreal, quebec. charlo dropped in round 3 still won unanimous decision after twelve rounds, scorecards reading 118-109 twice , 115-111.


charlo vs. andrade negotiations

charlo scheduled fight demetrius andrade @ mandalay bay resort & casino on december 13, 2014 wbo light middleweight title before fight cancelled due purse issues. andrade reportedly offered $250,000, later increased career high $300,000 purse.


charlo vs. matirosyan

following cancellation of andrade fight, charlo fought in december 2014 against mario alberto lozano on undercard of amir khan vs. devon alexander @ mgm grand arena in las vegas. charlo won clear 100-90 on 3 scorecards of 10 round fight.


on march 28, 2015 charlo fought biggest test date, against former world title challenger vanes martirosyan (35-1-1, 25 kos) @ palms casino resort in las vegas. charlo won contentious unanimous decision. scores 97-93, 96-94, 96-94.


in october 2015, charlo knocked out former light middleweight champion joachim alcine (35-7-2, 21 kos).
