the 3.3 bored 3.78 in (96 mm) , stroked 3.43 in (87 mm) create 3,778 cc (231 cu in) version. egh version built @ trenton engine in trenton, mi.


the 3.8 received increase in power of 12 hp (9 kw), total of 162 hp (121 kw) in 1994 via new intake system. in 1998 compression ratio increased total of 180 hp (134 kw) , 240 lb·ft (325 n·m). in 2001, 3.3 3.8 received variable intake control system boosted output 215 hp (160 kw) @ 5000 rpm 245 lb·ft (332 n·m) @ 4000 rpm.
