the pentagon s first major event hosted on october 10, 2013. minnesota timberwolves played milwaukee bucks in main court preseason exhibition game, , television coverage provided fox sports north. wolves defeated bucks score of 98-89 in front of announced crowd of 3,250.


on november 8, 2013, pentagon hosted first ncaa division men s basketball game between 20th ranked wisconsin badgers , st. john s red storm. game televised on big ten network. wisconsin won game 86-75 in front of sellout crowd of 3,523.


2014

on november 18, 2014, pentagon hosted season non-conference ncaa division basketball game between 11th ranked wichita state shockers , memphis tigers. game televised espn part of tip-off marathon programming. shockers won game 71-56 in front of sellout crowd.


on november 30, 2014, south dakota state jackrabbits took on florida gulf coast eagles, winning 71-58. announced attendance 3,250 , coverage provided fox sports north.


for third , final ncaa division basketball game of 2014-15 season @ sanford pentagon, unlv runnin rebels played south dakota coyotes on december 13, 2014. unlv won game 75-61 , game televised midco sports network , espn3.


2015

on march 16th, 2015, announced iowa state cyclones men s basketball team play colorado buffaloes men s basketball team on november 13th, 2015, in season non-conference match-up.

on december 11, 2013, announced sanford pentagon home multiple ncaa division ii championships. these include 2017 , 2018 ncaa men s division ii basketball championships, 2015, 2016, , 2018 ncaa women s division ii basketball championships (except championship final in 2016, held @ bankers life fieldhouse in indianapolis), , 2016 ncaa division ii women s volleyball championship.
