sr 726 begins @ junction u.s. route 50 (us 50) approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) west of downtown fallon. there, highway runs northward along soda lake road, two-lane road through residential , rural agricultural areas. highway follows soda lake road due north 2 miles (3.2 km) before reaching terminus @ intersection cox road, near southeast shores of soda lake.
