this season first year official swimmer @ texas christian university (tcu). during season, crespo did not lose of individual races (14 - 0) in 100 , 200 yards breaststroke. went undefeated against universities of utah, byu, air force, ucsd , unlv. won 2 (2) tcu weekly award (prix week tcu) on 23 october 2009 , 12 january 2010 performances during competitions team. on 10 november 2009 , 9 february 2010, crespo recognized best swimmer of week of mountain west conference (mwc) performance. on 6 february 2010, crespo broke record of 100 yards breaststroke all-american, jason flint, (55.24 in 1996) @ tcu vs. unlv swim meet, held @ tcu recreation center. crespo imposes record of 55.01. on 26 february 2010, crespo became champion of mountain west conference (mwc championship) in 100 yards breaststroke (53.32), imposing record tcu. gold medal represented seventh (7th) medal won athlete in swimming since tcu joined mountain west conference (mwc) in 2005-2006 season. competed in relay 4x50 medley , 4 × 100 medley yards, winning second (2nd) placed on both races. competed in 200 yards breaststroke finishing seventh (7th) place in finals of event, , sixth (6th) in 100 yards butterfly. on 1 march 2010, received mentioned all-mwc mountain west conference (mwc) in 100 butterfly , 100 yards breaststroke. 53.32 in 100 yard breaststroke, crespo selected participate , represent texas christian university (tcu) @ 2010 ncaa national championships (2010 ncaa championship) in columbus, ohio. became second athlete since 1997 participate in national championships. in championship, crespo placed 27th in united states in 100 yards breaststroke.


season 2010-2011

during season, focused more in 100 , 200 yards breaststroke. crespo had record of 9 (9) won , 1 (1) lose. also, led swim team of texas christian university (tcu) in won races (9 individually). on 11 january 2011, crespo named athlete of week tcu performance (won 100 , 200 yards breaststroke) in competition against unlv in las vegas. on 25 february 2011, placed second (2nd) during mountain west conference championship (mwc championship) time of 53.35 in 100 yards breaststroke. competed , placed second (2nd) in relay 4x50 yards medley, , 4×100 yards medley. compited in 200 yards breaststroke, finishing fourth (4th) place time of 1:58.60, breaking record of jason flint (1:59.45) since 1996. on 1 march 2011, recognized mountain west conference (mwc) all-mwc in 100 yards , 200 yards breaststroke in relay 4×50 yards, , 4×100 yards medley. on 10 march 2011, crespo selected (for second time) participate , represent texas christian university (tcu) @ 2011 ncaa national swimming championships (2011 ncaa championship) in minnesota, minneapolis. in championship, crespo placed 20th in 100 yard breaststroke (53.50) , 30th position in 200 yards breaststroke (1:57.91 - breaking own record set during championship of mountain west conference championship) in united states.


season 2011-2012

this season last 1 official swimmer of texas christian university (tcu). during season, crespo did not lose of individual races in 100 , 200 yards breaststroke. went undefeated against universities such notre dame, michigan, wyoming, smu, , ucsd. achieved 2 (2) tcu athlete of week (athlete of week tcu) on 19 october 2011, , 25 january 2012 performances during competitions team. on 1 february 2012, crespo recognized tcu scholar-athlete (student-athlete) of january @ texas christian university. award given performance in school , in sport. on 15 february 2012, crespo started last performance athlete of texas christian university (tcu) in conference usa championship. achieved first placed in 100 yards breaststroke, breaking record of 53.26 established in 2010 (53.32). also, won 200 yards breaststroke, beating own record of 1:56.30 established in 2011 (1:57.91). crespo achieved silver medals in relays 4x50 , 4×100 yards medley (both new tcu record). also, got bronze medal in 200-yard individual medley time of 1:50.06. edgar crespo selected swimmer of meet @ c-usa (swimmer conference usa championship) performance during event.
