a relaunch of morning took place in 2009 , subsequently, ratings rose 20%. part of relaunch included new set , holly willoughby became new co-presenter.


in march 2010, morning announced show air 7 days week, 2 new one-hour shows broadcast on saturdays , sundays. schofield , willoughby presented pre-recorded links in between compilations of past week s programming. weekend editions introduced on 20 march 2010, have since been dropped schedule.


the hub interactive part of show heavily featured in morning 2010 until 2014. presenters included jeff brazier (2013–14), jenni falconer (2013–14), stephen mulhern (2011–2014) rylan clark (2013–14), emma willis (2012–2014), coleen nolan (2010–2012), samanthi jayawardena (2010–2012) , matt johnson (2010–2013).


on 1 march 2010, morning began interactive cooking event, named morning cook in!, each week, 5 viewers , celebrity guest cook along, via skype, chefs on day of event. gino d acampo , phil vickery 2 chefs present item.


the show has proven newsworthy on several occasions. morning covered new ground showing gay partnership celebration live. 2008 interview kerry katona, slurring words, attracted coverage.


on 21 august 2013, carol vorderman took first steps towards 2014 world record attempt doing solo flight 1,000 metres high, live on morning, reporter jenni falconer there.


on 3 october 2013, morning celebrated 25th anniversary. programme broadcast live original home @ albert dock in liverpool presenters phillip schofield, eamonn holmes, holly willoughby , ruth langsford being joined original presenters richard madeley , judy finnigan. numerous historical clips of show aired, including gene pitney s infamous miming gaffe 1989. keith lemon presented weather show s infamous floating weather map, while stephen mulhern presented various items including hub sub (the interactive hub on submarine). there speculation around whether fern britton return 25th anniversary, confirmed 8 days before not.
