following return, mohsin took on management of estate of half-sister, munnujan. widow of mirza salahuddin, naib-faujdar or deputy military governor of hughli working nawab of bengal. inherited fortune mother zainab, first husband aga motahar had land , properties in hughli, jessore, murshidabad , nadia.


after munnujan s death in 1803, mohsin inherited of fortune. bequeathed fortune charity , created waq f or trust in 1806, entire wealth of 156,000 taka. one-third of fortune donated education , religious programmes, four-ninths pensions elderly , disabled, , remaining two-ninths expenses of 2 trustees. gave 40 acres of land out of 42 acres establishing govt. bl college, khulna, bangladesh. 10 th college of bangladesh , first college of southern part of bangladesh.
