this long sandy beach largely protected headlands, reefs , sand-bars, making safer swimming.


the headlands have reefs along rocks, close beach. @ both pehambiya end , western end, swimmers can snorkel out beach watch colourful reef fish amongst rocks.


local inshore fishermen, @ sheltered pehambiya end, use colourful small oru outrigger canoes easier manoeuvre on seasonal shifting sand-bars.
