the drumline sardis secondary school played @ several venues during 2010 winter olympics in vancouver.


chilliwack offers many other community events , classes throughout year. downtown chilliwack business improvement association hosts free concerts , activities in downtown core each friday evening during months of july , august, called party in park . music , more free summer event takes place each wednesday throughout july , august, kids activities @ noon , concerts in evening. event presented numerous local arts groups working together, , chilliwack community arts council. annual event corn maze, public invited roam in farmers fields when crops of corn @ highest.

the chilliwack cultural centre performing arts venue located in downtown chilliwack. building home chilliwack players guild (the resident theatre company), chilliwack academy of music.


the ufv theatre 206-seat thrust stage venue belonging university of fraser valley (ufv) theatre department. ufv produces 3 or 4 mainstage shows each year, annual directors festival featuring student directors , performers ufv, capilano university, thompson rivers university, university of victoria, ubc , douglas college.


the chilliwack school of performing arts provides pre-professional training in acting, singing , dancing children ages 3–18 @ north campus of university of fraser valley. mainstage show performs two-week run every january @ chilliwack cultural centre, , spring festival featuring performances many age groups @ ufv theatre in late may. programs @ chilliwack performing arts can registered @ . many different programs available, including junior musical theatre , summer break camps.
