rajput-class destroyers – ins rajput has 4 brahmos missiles in 2 twin inclined launchers. ins ranvir , ins ranvijay armed 1 stern mounted 8-cell brahmos vls launcher.
talwar-class frigate – 3 later ships, ins teg, ins tarkash, ins trikand armed 1 bow mounted 8-cell brahmos vls launcher.
shivalik-class frigate – 3 frigates in class armed 1 bow mounted 8-cell brahmos vls launcher.
kolkata-class destroyer – 3 destroyers in class armed 2 bow mounted 8-cell brahmos vls launchers.
visakhapatnam-class destroyer – 4 destroyers in class planned armed 2 bow mounted 8-cell brahmos vls launchers.

the brahmos block inducted army on 21 june 2007. brahmos has been inducted in 3 regiments of indian army. army has raised 1 regiment (numbered 861) of mark , 2 missile regiments of brahmos mark ii, numbered 862 , 863. first regiment 5 mobile launcher cost $83 million set up. each of 2 new regiments have between 4 , 6 batteries of 3 4 mobile autonomous launchers (72 missiles per regiment) can connected mobile command post. these regiments part of army s existing 40th , 41st artillery divisions. operational brahmos regiments are:
